Iran's Nuclear Threat as Western Mendacity

Iran is not a nuclear threat. Fearing Iran is not about Iran, it is about fear. Fear facilitates blindness, hatred or indifference toward the killing and suffering of tens of thousands of people. A fear-racked people will advocate and/or accept mass murder. They will accept almost anything - just let it dispel their fear!

Why so fearful? Clearly, fearing threats to our well-being and security is normal and helpful. It can also be deadly. Killing others based on irrational fears is all too common. Massive numbers were recently killed without justification, supported by such irrational fears. Or didn’t you notice? Often enough, however, at some point those fearful advocates of murder realize they had nothing to fear. No WMD. No links to Al-Qaeda. No justification for being there at all. Saddam Hussein was a brutal dictator to be sure but are you really wanting to assert that what the US has offered Iraqis in its place is an improvement? No. Fear allowed this to happen not a substantive threat. Fears based on the most tenuous of claims - a veritable mountain of fabrications, exaggerations, and outright lies.
