Who is Dr. Charles Edgbaston?

Really? Can anyone tell me? Let me explain why I ask. This evening, I’ve been reading articles, checking out sites and so on and I was checking out Finkelstein’s site. He lists numerous articles but also includes emails sent to him by various people familiar and unfamiliar. He received one from a Dr. Charles Edgbaston. Now a Dr. Charles Edgbaston commented on a post here where I highlighted parts of a review of Michael Neumann’s, The Case Against Israel. The Dr. wanted to inform readers here that this Neumann character was a lousy scholar spewing Palestinian propaganda. I replied to his comments as I am wont to do and, truthfully, I quite like what I wrote.

Anyway, Dr. Charles Edgbaston wrote a very bizarre email to Finkelstein beginning with: “The International Christian Embassy in Jerusalem has informed me that you are committing slander against the holy state of Israel.”
